AUGS Past President Passes Away
Tom Benson, AUGS' 13th President, passed away June 28, 2008.

The American Urogynecologic Society (AUGS) is the premier society dedicated to research and education in urogynecology, and the detection, prevention and treatment of female lower urinary tract disorders and pelvic floor disorders. AUGS fulfills its mission through:

• Offering an Annual Scientific Meeting focused on the latest research findings and providing advanced educational opportunities, including Webcasts.
   
• Advocating on behalf of the legislative and reimbursement issues impacting the field
   
• Providing research tools, grants and resources to support urogynecology research
   
• Offering up-to-date patient information and resources through the AUGS Foundation presented in an easy-to-understand format
