Research Funding

AUGS serves as an advocate for increased Federal research funding to support conditions that women face throughout their lives, including conditions that become more prevalent in the post-reproductive years. This is accomplished through direct outreach to the National Institutes of Health and Congress, representation on national research initiatives, and participation in women’s health research coalitions to strengthen our collective voice. AUGS is the only organization solely focused on advocating for research funding for pelvic floor disorders.
