AUGS-SGS FPRN - Research Opportunities

The purpose of the Fellows’ Pelvic Research Network (FPRN^®) is to enable fellows to work together cooperatively and conduct multi-center pelvic floor research projects.

In July 2014, SGS and AUGS announced the formation of a subgroup of the FPRN^®. AUGS is excited to be participating with SGS on this very successful program for FPMRS Fellows. The AUGS Research Committee will work with the SGS Research Committee to provide guidance and oversight to the AUGS-SGS FPRN subgroup. Meetings will occur at both SGS and AUGS annual meetings.

Submission Deadline: Tuesday, October 1, 2024, 11:59 pm ET

What are we looking for?

Feasible, multi-center projects that are amenable to ancillary studies.
Special interest will be given to studies that identify and address health disparities.

How many projects will be funded?

No limit to the number of proposals we are accepting
Voting for new projects occurs at the upcoming FPRN® meeting at AUGS

Proposals are due Sunday, September 1, 2024 at 11:59 EST
The AUGS-SGS Group of the FPRN® Steering Committee and Advisory Board review all proposals for innovation, feasibility, and appropriate multi-center design. Selected proposals will be invited to present at the FPRN® meeting.

Prior to Proposal Submission:

Please join the FPRN® HERE. There is no fee to join the FPRN®, though you must be an Associate Member of SGS. Associate membership requires $50 annual dues and can be extended for up to three years post-fellowship.

Yes, please be sure to include an itemized budget for your project
