AUGS provides two in person events annually tailored toward urogynecology fellows. Each event includes 50-60 fellow participants in their second or third year of fellowship.

Fellows Hands-on Course

This cadaver course focuses on advanced pelvic anatomy surrounding topics such as transobturator anatomy, Martius flaps, laparoscopic retropubic surgery, ureteral location and surgical management, prolapse repair (with and without graft augmentation), management of mesh complications, laparoscopic surgeries, neuromodulation, and botulinum toxin. This hands-on course is focused on creating opportunities for interaction between the faculty and fellows. In addition to the didactic lectures, debate, and case-based discussions, there will be three hours of cadaver labs each day to demonstrate surgical anatomy and techniques.
 
 

Fellows Robotics Course

This program focuses on the practical application of robotics technology. Second- or third-year fellows are able to participate in an intense two-day training, which includes a combination of live and video lectures by faculty, hands on simulation, animal labs, and exposure to the latest robotic technology. Fellows will leave the course with an increased knowledge of the robotics approach to sacracolopexy.
