Friends and Colleagues,

I hope you will join me in congratulating our new AUGS Board members!

Jennifer Wu will be joining the AUGS Board this October as Vice President and Dobie Giles will be joining as Treasurer.

As always, we had an excellent slate of candidates presented to the AUGS membership for vote. You, the Society members, elected Rob Gutman and Gina Northington as our two new Directors at Large.

The AUGS and Foundation Boards both also welcome Heidi Brown who will serve as Vice-Chair of the PFD Research Foundation and a member of the AUGS Board.

Additionally, please join me in thanking Michael Flynn, Shawn Menefee, Tanaz Ferzandi, Lieschen Quiroz, and Christopher Tarnay for their time, commitment, and service as they rotate off the Board in October.

As I have transitioned through this year as AUGS President, it is clear to me that an effective board is one that appreciates an inclusive environment with a diversity of thought and enthusiasm for working as a team for the benefit of AUGS membership and our patients.
